Audio Ministry
The Audio Ministry ensures a smooth running service by being highly technically skilled engineers that are sensitive to the move of the Holy Spirit and have the ability to flow with Him. From sound check to the close of service our only driving force is to ensure the ministry renders a more excellent gift to God.
Choir
The purpose of the choir is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage. Believers and non-believers in their walk with Christ, and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship.
College Outreach Ministry
The College Outreach Ministry offers support and resources to college students who are members of True Rock Church. The ministry also encourages college students to walk a Christ-like life while pursuing a degree.
Culinary Arts Ministry
Culinary Arts is responsible for preparing meals that are pleasing to eye and taste. They are knowledgeable in the science of food and the understanding of diet and nutrition. They work in the kitchen at True Rock Church.
Dance Ministry
Through the ministry of dance they are the vessels that God uses to bring life to His word through movement, lead by the Holy Spirit in order to educate, uplift and focus on the salvation of the Lord.
Deacon Board
The Deacon Board serves the pastorate, and supports the vision of the ministry through prayer and presence and dedicated service.
Drama Ministry
The Drama Ministry seeks to uplift and magnify the Lord Jesus Christ through dramatic presentations. As we produce our theatrical works, the focus is always geared toward winning souls for the Kingdom of God and encouraging the Body of Christ. We believe God has given us all a second chance to get our “act” together, and this theme is reflected in all of our productions.
Greeters Ministry
Greeters are positioned to warmly extend the hand of our living God, our Pastors and the True Rock Church family in welcoming every living soul that comes to worship with the True Rock Church worship service and other church events, through our ministering of hospitality.
House Keeping Ministry
The house keeping ministry ensures and enhances the general upkeep of the building. The ministry is responsible for cleaning and dusting all sections of the building. This ministry ensures a clean worship environment.
Macedonia Ministry
The Macedonia Ministry serves a direct personal support to the pastor through prayer, physical and financial support.
Mime in Motion Ministry
The purpose of the mime ministry is to dramatize words through facial expressions, movement, body language, and sign language. Our mission is to use mime effectively to minister to all people. We are to spread the gospel of our Lord by interpreting gospel music, bible stories, or the preached word with choreographed dramatic gestures and facial expressions.
Ministerial Alliance
The mission of the Ministerial Alliance is to support, undergird and serve as extended arms of our Pastors. The Alliance serves as the internal infrastructure of the ministry consisting of ministers who have accepted the call of God and the mission of the Church of Jesus Christ to faithfully serve the people of God.
New Member’s Ministry
The New Member’s Classes are designed to spiritually develop and biblically empower every New Member of TRC for Christian growth. This is a wonderful way for New Members to learn the biblical foundation, organizational structure and vision of True Rock Church.
Nurses Ministry
The Nurses’ Ministry provides nursing support services to the Pastors and the True Rock Church during services.
Outreach Ministry
The Outreach ministry provides food for hungry and needy families in the Metro Detroit area and to uplift the inner-state of mind and promote the wellbeing of mankind.
Praise Team
The Praise Team effectively leads the congregation into the presence of God by living a life that is pleasing to God and by properly preparing music that would cause the atmosphere to be conducive for worship.
Security Ministry
The mission of the Ministry is to provide security services to the Pastors and the members of the True Rock Church.
Senior’s Ministry
Our mission is to afford senior adults the opportunity to make their latter years their golden years in and for the kingdom of God. This includes providing quality services and activities that foster spiritual enrichment, Christian fellowship, mental growth and physical health.
True Rock Academy of Christianity (TRAC)
Through a Christian Based Curriculum, TRAC provides a teaching-learning environment conducive for young people.
Usher Ministry
To serve the body of Christ in the same spirit of excellence exemplified by our pastors, ensure every guest is privileged to worship in an atmosphere conducive to the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, and maintain an orderly church environment. While serving whole-heartedly, rendering our service unto the Lord, we encourage perfect order in the sanctuary and throughout the church.
Youth Usher Board
The purpose of the youth usher board is to create a warm and welcomed environment to all members and visitors of True Rock Church. Members of the Youth Usher Board assist with the order in the church; they greet, seat members and guest, distribute bulletins, and assist all other ministries.
